Why Use Curse for Addons..... that site is notorious for viruse and keyloggers that get your Account information for Hackers to steal all your stuff.... Use WoWMatrix that gets the Addons from the source

why dont you like Curse? it doesnt matter where u get ur addons from, addons can not contain keyloggers/virus's! the only part of Curse that has any chance of actually ever containing them is the client, which thousands of people use everyday without getting their accounts stolen.
Its just as safe and more widely used than wowmatrix, I use matrix cause its the first addon client I ever downloaded O___o not cause one is better than the other or safer...

Damn, if only Blizz had some way to counter all those keylogger programs that have been the source of so many headaches...

Okay, listen person who has bought the fear purveyed by the ignorant.
Firstly: Any keylogger gotten from any hosting site was caused by one of the two following methods.
1a: A corrupted ad on the site. (These can also effect your precious 'downloaders' too, as most of them have ad's built into them.
1b: Someone bundled a keylogger into a self installer .exe they then hosted on Curse as a compilation.
Secondly : If the only place a file is hosted for a particular mod is Curse.com, then wowmatrix will pull the file from there. SO if you're using a compilation pack with a .exe that wowmatrix downloads for you you're still at risk.
Thirdly : If you're browsers, software, AV, and Anti-Phishing / Java and ad blockers are configured correctly, you should NEVER get key logged.
FACT: People that have been key logged took some unsafe action that led to it happening. These things do not install themselves.

You get keyloggers/virus from unsafe internet browsing. Most likely if you've gotten infected it was months before you noticed to throw off suspicion to something you've done more recently like download an addon! Addons are just text files and can not contain any of the sort.
And the source you say wowmatrix downloads from. Well that source is Curse.
